Vikram has been accepted as an internationally recognised thought leader in the DLT space, and is ranked by Legal 500 EMEA and by Chambers and Partners as a Leading Fintech lawyer.
He has assisted the Gibraltar Government and the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority develop the infrastructure to accommodate a DLT regulatory framework in Gibraltar, including being involved in the drafting of Regulatory Guidance Notes to Gibraltar’s Distributed Ledger Technology Regulations and assisting with the regulatory framework for Token Sales.
Vikram has substantial experience in a range of core topics in Fintech, regularly aiding clients with initial coin offerings, security token offerings, other distributed ledger technology matters including licence applications under Gibraltar’s DLT Providers Regulations, as well as with other regulatory matters.
He is a contributor to a chapter on the United Nations Manual on Virtual Currencies (to be published later this year) and is also a contributor to the European Commission’s Blockchain Observatory and Forum providing industry and legal insight to assist in the reports to be published by the Observatory. In addition, he is an inaugural member of the advisor board of ELONtech (the European Law Observatory of New Technologies) having delivered the first ELONtech workshop on “Token Sale Regulations and Best Practices” and participated in formal ELONtech roundtable discussions.
Vikram has contributed to various international events and initiatives as a speaker, including the KPMG Summit, HoshoCon (Las Vegas, USA), Crypto Valley Conference (Zug, Switzerland), Futurama Summit, GibFin (Gibraltar and London), World Blockchain Forum, Singapore University of Social Sciences and d10e.
