Melanie Mohr is a Berlin-based digital entrepreneur, acquiring her experiences in the field of production over decades as a TV producer, where she was responsible for more than 100 productions — from music videos and documentaries to prime-time. After a while, producing just wasn’t enough. Melanie started thinking about all the new ways content can reach its audience and created Apollo TV.
She developed two apps for this creative lifestyle platform, kept thinking and had a Eureka moment one sleepless night in November 2015, asking herself: Why is there no app where you can only buy and sell with video? Just 8 months later YEAY was ready to launch.
Since Melanie deeply believes in the storytelling power of the moving image, she combines this with her love of shopping in YEAY, a company she founded to blend mobile, video and e-commerce seamlessly.
